Most Satisfying Case: Last year, at Miami Valley Hospital, a 24 year old women presented to the dental center with significant tooth pain in multiple teeth and was very self conscious about her smile. She was also 9 months pregnant, never used a tooth brush or floss and she was to deliver her baby in 2 days. After consulting with her physician and ob-gyn we removed the teeth that were causing her discomfort and instructed her in proper home dental care. Just days following her delivery she returned, stating, "I want my teeth as healthy as my new baby - I never want my child to go through the tooth pain I had to endure." She requested to be seen once a week. Within months she was smiling confidently and pain free...she was so thankful. I'm glad I was able to improve the lives of both of them.
My Special Story: My undergraduate education was completed in different parts of the world...A year in Egypt, 2 years in Florida, and a year at the University of British Columbia in Canada. I graduated from the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry, then completed an advanced residency training program in hospital dentistry at Miami Valley Hospital. It is with great pleasure that I offer my experience to all of the wonderful patients at HealthPark.
