Special Clinical Interest: Preventive Dental Care, Sedation and Early Phase Orthodontic Treatment. The most satisfying part of my practice is seeing more healthy children coming in for preventive care, I call it establishing a Dental Home for every child in the community. Most Satisfying Case: Every once in awhile, I meet a child who I can tell is being forced to come to the dentist. Once I see those terrified eyes, I take it as a personal challenge to utilize all of my skills to give this child a joyful, pain-free experience. It is amazing how big a difference behavioral modification and sedation can make in this child's experience. I get paid in full when I see this child coming back for the next visit with a happy, healthy smile. My Special Story: I was born in Des Moines, Iowa to a father who was the Allergist of that community. Since then, I have traveled across the globe and have earned a wealth of experience. I enjoyed the diversity and busy life in Boston, but felt that it was time to complete the circle and return to raise my family in a quiet Midwestern town just like my father did. Children are the joy of my life and I would love to be able to give my three children the chance to grow with the family values I once witnessed. I enjoy every moment I spend with a child to give him or her the healthy happy smile they need to face the bright future awaiting them.
